So we got our rain, and the vinyl wrap is beading up almost as good as the rest of the hood. DDJ Iron Gloss on the vinyl, and 303 touchless sealant on the paint. Attachment 70450

I just couldn't resist, these ones were just so big and juicy, you should have seen them jiggle when i started the car up. Attachment 70475

It might not have the tightest beads but definitely has great self cleaning properties.

Nice beading pics, ok I know I’m going to ask a stupid all around question.
When it rains and the water beads, are suppose to go out and dry since it already has protection?
What if we away from our cars for days and can’t dry it?

Not a stupid question at all, plus it’s hard to learn if you’re not asking questions!
You don’t have to go outside and dry the car, it’s protected and depending on the amount of rain, certain/some LSP’s will “self clean” better than others(ceramics are most known for this but there are quite a few sealants that have a strong self cleaning ability).
It’ll naturally dry on its own of course, any water spotting will be from the droplets accumulating any surface dust or dirt that has come to rest on the paint. They will wash away when you are next able to do that.
Only time I’d recommend rushing out and getting the water off the car is when it’s from sprinklers or a hose, since there’s generally higher levels of minerals in the water which will etch your clear.
Thanks man, I’m new to detailing.
I got you.

Bunch of great guys here, that go out there way. I’ve learned so much stuff, from better approaches, we’ll all I can do is keep trying.
If you don’t fail, you ain’t trying.

If my garage were available I would of pulled it in and blew the water off (I havedone so many times) But I have a cycle in there for a coating job so I waited till morning and just took a little ride for the second day in a row.
