    Carwash (allegedly) shuts down Tesla

No word on whether or not the car wash interfered with the knock sensor . . .

Re: Carwash (allegedly) shuts down Tesla

I found the statement about not washing the truck in sunlight kinda funny. Reminded me of the old Gremlins movie..."don't feed them after midnight and don't get them wet!" Those instructions are probably on there to keep people from getting water spots that will etch the stainless steel body.

Even if it has a "car wash mode" which I find a little strange, I can't help but wonder if this had anything to do with water or simply a software problem that lead to the truck being bricked. When you get complexity at that level, it may be impossible to tell without some really deep diagnostics.
