    You know, I think this is where you two got all wrapped around the axle in the other thread. One of you is talking about a frame off restoration and a better-than-new result. I think the OP in the other thread just wanted to get the car in a running and presentable condition.

    I love articles like the Car Craft article, it shows people, especially young guys and even girls, how they can get into the car hobby without have to invest pile of money they don't have...

    Man, that's Hot Roddin' at its purest form! Take an undesirable POS that was left for dead and make it go, stop and handle better than ever, all on the cheap! As funds become available or deals arise on used parts, you make it better and better, skinning knuckles along the way, but gaining knowledge and experience you could never obtain by reading magazines and dreaming of the day you can plunk down a hefty check for some megabucks pro-built work of art.
    That's what a true gearhead is all about.
