Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai
i currently lease a 2017 Tucson (base model) and own a 2013 Sonata GLS. LOVE them both. Great gas mileage out of them both. For a base model Tucson, you get nice wheels, body colored everything, it doesnt look like a base model with the exception of no fog lights but the black bezels are so small you dont notice it. The redesigned front end looks so good too. i was able to talk the dealer down on the lease to $265/mo with only $250 down on a $25,000 vehicle. lol. Last day of the month really helped!! hey gave me every discount they could including employee discount. Ive done that on every vehicle ive bought or leased.
I leased our Sonata for 4 years, then bought it from the lease. I like doing it that way, keeps the payments low and the only interest is when i have a loan. The lease is 0% so i get a lot of it paid off at 0%, then take out a loan and its under a full powertrain warranty even if it was a 5 year loan after the 4 year lease. Ive got around 54K on the Sonata right now.
I had leased an Elantra before the Tucson and i really liked it b/c the gas mileage was crazy good and it rode really nice but there were a few small things i didnt like (not enough to keep me from owning one) and i really liked the look of the new Tucson and with the hook up they gave me on the Tucson i went for it after the test drive. Ive got 10K on the Tucson right now. When we realized we were going to keep the Sonata and turn in the Elantra we kept the miles off the Sonata and drive the Elantra right on the mark and we ended up being 8,000 miles under the 48K of the lease on the Sonata so we bought it with only 40K. Worked out really good for us!!

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai
Wife's cousin bought a G80 a few months ago...its quite nice. Hyundai & Kia have come quite a long way in the last few years.
Did a Kia Optima a month or so ago...very nice, well equipped car...was impressed by it.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai
for those who didn't know the meaning behind the Hyundai H logo...
While the “H” in Hyundai’s automobile logo does stand for the company’s name, it’s also a stylized picture: a silhouette of two individuals shaking hands. One individual is a company representative and the other is a satisfied customer. Their exchange is a handshake of trust and satisfaction between company and consumer. Also notice how the “H” is slanted forward, actively to the right, rather than passively to the left. The oval around the figures indicates Hyundai’s global expansion, its aim to flourish in the worldwide market beyond the Asian continent.
