3m owns Meguiar's

I was at Goodguys, talking to a 3M rep and he told me that 3m had bought Meguiar's. Said that Meguiar's still owned sales, I really don't totally understand. He said probably the only difference will be seen is a little 3M logo. H said that Meguiar's does really good on the consumer line. I hope they don't mess with pro stuff.

This happened back in August 2008.

I was still working for Meguiar's during the acquisition. One thing 3M stressed was they had no plans on changing a successful organization. Kind of the old philosophy of,

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

Of course I practice this one,

"If it ain't broke, fix it till it is"
