Someone put a nice dent at the top of my driver's side door. I am looking for a good PDR person in the Flint, MI area. Anyone willing to make a recommendation?
Good luck with that! This morning, an a**hole truck drive ran into the side of my car and drove away...luckily the police are chasing him up but now I'll have to have my car repaired....at least it's still driveable.
just had dent wizard fix a baseball dent on my dr. side fender about the size of half dollar coin cant even tell it was there. 80 bucks cash 130 with reciept..
I tried the lighter with tin foil followed by Upside down air duster - worthless. Want to try the Hair dryer followed by Air Duster, or Dry Ice method.
I have several dings from working at Wal-Mart and from living in So-Cal with tiny parking spaces, and from living in an apartment complex.
I would not try the dry ice method or any other home remedies, Call a professional. I do PDR myself and have heard of people trying the dry ice and afterwards the paint sometimes will delaminate. If dry ice will burn your skin, what will it do to clear cote? But, its your call. If these home remedies worked. There would be no PDR technicians, and I would not have invested over $9000+ in tools and training. There are many myths of dent removal. You can do more damage with these methods than its worth. JMO
I had a near dime sized ding removed from a rear quarter, high & right behind the passenger door (courtesy of a neighbor's cherokee sport back door...thanks for that and not fessing up!) not too long ago. The PDR guy got out and there's not a trace. He does work for several area car dealers so you might try asking around your local dealers.
