Made Huaraches (refried bean filled tortillas) tonight. Considering I've never made regular tortillas, these turned out well.

Topped with smashed avocado/jalapeno sauce and cheese

Grilling season is finally here.
Just a simple 1/4 pounder with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard with a side of steakhouse potato salad and cole slaw.

It's grilling season!

Went to a brewery that was doing Pints & Paws, which supports a dog rescue. Israeli food truck there had Arayes, which I had never heard of. It's herb ground lamb stuffed pita. Seemed like it was fried. A little greasy but tasty. I got it with their spicy sauce, schug.

Toasted bagel with avocado, diced serrano pepper, chile lime seasoning, a little avocado hot sauce and a fried egg. Would have expected more heat from an entire serrano but I did remove the center/seeds. I guess I'll leave them next time.
