    New flooring is done

Many thanks to all who chimed in and have shared thier experiences with the various flooring options. Special shout out to Sizzle Chest for helping push me over the edge. I'm glad I got this done.

Its a 3 layer, multi step system that starts with a floor grinding to expose the poles of the concrete and offer up a fresh stain free canvas. Next a polyuria base coat is applied. Very cool to see how it expands and "grows" into the concrete thus why it won't ever peel or flake. Next the colored chips are applied and when the base is dry, loose chips are scraped and vacuumed away. Lastly the Polyaspartic clear topcoat is applied.

It really changed the atmosphere of the garage and definitely brightens it up. Can't wait to do a detail this weekend!

Looks super pro (as in: good look for your side gig) and sooo smooth.

How is that flooring for using floor jacks on? Is that something that’ll tear it up or is it that tough? Trying to figure out what to do for our garage floor. I put a ton of miles on and all the salt brine dripping off my car has done a number to whatever paint/coating the previous owners had done.

No issues on jacks. I plan on getting some quick jacks later this year. Chemical wise, no acetone, acids or extended exposure to bleaches.

+1 on the banner. In fact that would be a prerequisite for me like it has become for many, many other things.

My neighbor is in the process of doing the same thing to his garage so I'll be sure to show him this thread.
