Bumper protection.......maybe?
So, in an ongoing effort in my quest to protect my rear bumper from the inevitable scrapes and scratches when parked in some tight places (very infrequently) or from the wizards in the parking garage, I was giving something like this bumper guard consideration.

But it would seem to help with the very visible pings and scratches, but I'm also guessing these guards would surely result in a heck of a lot of swirls. Anyone use them?

Like you I seldom park in tight places and wouldn't even consider hanging such a hideous looking contraption on my bumper.
What about the front bumper, is it not exposed to dings and bumps? I can only imagine what that might look like. Just my opinion.

Nope. I'd sooner put some urban assault vehicle gear on it. Bull bar on the front and this on the rear

Ok, ok, oooookaaaayy, yeah, it's ugly, BUT this was not to drive with, only to throw on while parking. My bigger concern was that this thing would end up making swirls on the car anyhow. Front - usually where I park, it will not be an issue, as they back that up against the walls in the lot.
