Re: Superbowl 2/7/21
I'm over 50 now. I need about 8 hours of sleep. I wake up for work at 5am.
The simple math will tell you I need to be in bed by 9pm or shortly after.
Here on the East Coast, all regular-season primetime NFL games START at 8:20.
The SB will start at 6:40 EST, and will have a 35 minute halftime. Assuming the game is 3 hours (yeah right) that puts the final whistle at 10:15.
I have read that the ratings are calculated in such a way that a single viewer (household) need not watch the entire game (just a quarter or so) to be counted as viewing the entire game. Thus screwing the potential viewers on the East Coast.
Sorry NFL........ I don't rent and watch 3/4 of a movie. And I won't watch 3/4 (or ANY) of your late night (Oh......sorry. "Primetime" games") Super Bowl or not.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Rooting for Bucs! I’m sick of Mahomes scratchy voice and the Chiefs proved last week they are a dirty team on the field, this besides Tyreek Hill’s off the field past rumors.

Link to a great 50 minute NFL films video of Tom Brady being selected as the 6th quarterback, 199th pick, in the 2000 draft.
The Brady 6: Journey of the Legend NO ONE Wanted! - YouTube
After watching that video recently I gained a ton of respect for Brady. Wasn’t even that disappointed when they beat the Packers.
I’m rooting for Brady, don’t really care which team wins.
