Florida, good ole Sunshine State, Orlando area. My parents moved there a few years ago and both recently retired and my in laws have been there almost 6 years now. My wife and I really don’t like dealing with winter, the cold, snow and salt is bad enough, but the lack of Sun really effects me in many ways.

Re: Stimuls check
43,000 millionaires receive a stimulus on average of a about 1.3 million each. Democrats and Republican millionaires receive there big paid day. That why no one talks much about this 1 that was snuck through on the bill. Republicans and Democrats both steal from us. When the cameras aren’t there both sides are buddy buddy they are all getting paid well with full benefits plus the money they make on the side it’s f-ing crazy. It’s not all fake by any means but it’s also not all legitimate. Politicians should have to work real jobs

Ahh ... Jealous!!!
I would have to go a bit further away from Orlando or I would simply be working to fund Ange’s Disney World addiction.
How damn exciting! Good for you man, & hey - yeah bud, we’re doing okay down here, thanks for thinking of us my friend. Hope you & your loved ones are all safe & well & remain so.

That’s the plan!! We’ve had a mild winter this season, but generally from late October to mid May it can be a mix of cold, wet, rainy and windy conditions in Fall and Spring. Winter is just pure depression with everything covered in salt, trees and plants look dead and barren and the temps that sometimes won’t break from freezing for weeks. No thanks!

Hahaha don’t need to get me started on a Disney addiction. My mom loves Disney so much parents moved from Chicago, Illinois to Orlando, Florida for that reason alone! We won’t be there for long though. We’re looking to buy a house further out from Orlando as traffic becomes more and more congested every year it seems.
Glad to know all is well for you and your family. I read your post in the Covid Thoughts Thread, I’m sorry for the sacrifices you’ve had to make with your parents, son and business. Hopefully as you return to your shop soon things can start to feel a bit more “normal” and you all continue to stay safe and healthy!

Re: Stimuls check
I spent some money on a milwaukee packout rolling box. Will use for detailing and diy jobs. However, using the treasury secretarys own words that check is supposed to equal 10 weeks pay worth of stuff you need. I dont see how that works in my area or any area for that matter. People stimulate the economy by building homes, working and dining out, etc, not getting a small amount of cash to last you for basic needs.
