    102.5 hours in 2 weeks. Tis the season.

    WORK. That little 4 letter word. We have been off the hook at work. CRAZY. I can`t tell you the last time we worked a 8 hour day or 40 hour week. Had to work last Saturday 4 hours. …..BREAK.... At least I had the insight to take off Christmas week. The 21st thru the 28th I will be off. DO NOT DISTURB. The government thanks me very much for all the OT. I am very thank full for the employment, but at times I thought I was going to lose my sanity. New years will be working the 29th and 30th. Off 31st and the 1st.

    So far this year I've worked right at 800 hours of overtime. I'm on 7/12's right now. Every year they say overtime is going away, yet every year I end up with 700-800 hours of OT. The last time I had a weekend off was in March. So yeah, sounds like you got it pretty rough out there.

    I know the feeling. Enjoy the time off. I am about to get almost a month off with the company shutdown and some PTO.

    One word: Hydroponics

    {You should then be able to easily put in
    an average of 51.25 actual work-hours per
    week—for at least two consecutive weeks—
    while standing on your head.}

    Enjoy the time off you deserve it. For 15 years I did the OT thing holidays n weekends then they bumped me to salary n no OT. And I figured at least I can get the holidays off. Unfortunately any holiday that falls around the end of the 4 th quarter turns into madness as I put on my finance hat to close out the year. But Im so happy to be employed for 35 years straight for 2 great Fortune 500 companies.

    I feel your pain. Have had 3 weekends off this yr. I ave 60+ hrs a week in the steel industry. With 32 yrs in, I can pick and choose my OT now pretty much. We hear the same thing about how they are going to cut the ot back, but to me its just a ploy to get people to volunteer for sundays.
