If this thing is the future, I would much prefer to keep living in the past...

Hopefully when they come out Mike will get his hands on one and do one of his awesome write ups with a ton of pictures. As I doubt I'll be lucky enough to ever find a person around here who has one and needs me to detail it.

If we are to believe Elon's craziness, this is not some super weird prototype and the actual truck will look nothing like it. This is basically a production ready showing minute a few internal changes.

The base model's $39k and has a 250 mile range, the $70k model 500 miles and 2.9 0-60, this is bigger than an f-150, that's pretty nuts.

I bet I could somehow still manage to stall my DA working on it lol.
It looks like it should fly and cross rivers. I don't think we're quite there yet but what do I know. At 250 miles thats not much for people who drive and use trucks for work. Thats not even 2 days trip for a lot of people I know. How inconvenient is it to charge? Does that 250 miles stay the same for the life of vehicle or does that drop with age like all battery powered tools?

Re: I want to detail a Tesla Cybertruck.

I seem to be going against the crowd, but I like it. It’s different that’s for sure, but different can be good. They say you can wrap it in any color you like but if I’m paying $40k for stainless I’m keeping it shiny. I looks like the bed would be perfect for me and the ramp idea works when I have to haul around my riding lawnmower. The 250 mile range is fine, on most electric vehicles you can use 240 volts and get 15 miles of range per hour of charge time and that would be fine with me.

The batteries are lasting longer than were previously expected. There are some 400,000 mile Tesla’s (used as taxis) that have only lost about 20 percent of their originally battery power. The future is getting here fast!

Imagine using this as a mobile detail rig. Using an electric pressure washer and tools because it has areas to plug in in the bed. That would be amazing! Plus you don’t have to worry about swirls

Well if they ever revive the back to the future movies, they have the vehicle for the time machine
