    I’ve never encountered any difficulty
    in keeping Blackened/Darkened wheels
    clean...no matter their finish—Matte;
    Satin; Gloss; etc.

    Black Pearl Powdercoat happens to
    be one of my favorite shades.

    The thing is, the detail of the wheel is washed away unless your right ontop of it and even then, gets lost, from far away looks like a steelie and no matter how much of an "AutoGeek" you are they're too much work to maintain.

    Don’t get me wrong, I like black wheels on certain cars. I was all set to order another set of black wheels and then saw the satin titanium wheels on my color R and now here I am! Can’t make up my damn mind! Lol the struggle is real!

    Satin Titanium. Black wheels are still ok on black cars all blacked out, and they have to be gloss black otherwise they always look dirty. Other than that I think black wheels are yet another fad that’s going to go by the wayside. I was in the tire and wheel business most of my life. I’ve seen a lot of fads come and go. The worst was the 13” reverse wire wheels on everything. A close second has to be the 24” wheels on lifted Crown Vic’s. I think that one is finally starting to die also.

    Satin titanium is my vote.

    The first that comes to my mind was a white OZ Rally Racing Wheel with the text in red. Those stands out LOL. They have them in Dark Graphite too.

    I would try to find a wheel with a red text on them or DIY it on them. To bring the Type-R red out a little more. Just a personal preference though

    You can guess my vote. In all real ness I like the black with your color as I feel the titanium looks washed out. Better contrast. Now also a picture doesn’t do it justice. I only like black wheels on darker cars.

    Both look great though. Just stay away from gloss black. Sucks to keep clean

    That’s my one concern with my color car and the satin titanium, is that it would look washed out.

    You make a good point about the wheel fads. Haven’t seen too many 24”+ wheels on crown vics and Escalades in a while. Hell, a lot of cars are coming stock with 20”+ wheels. The stock wheels on my car are 20’s.
