Re: New mid engine Corvette. July 18th.
The car isn't even out yet. Don't bash it until you drive it.

Has the press emargo on the C8 been lifted? I know the media is doing testing, but I was under the impression they still couldn't publish test results and driving impressions.
EDIT: Just looked it up. The embago will be lifted on Oct. 16th.

I saw it in person at the OC auto show last week. It looks good. The color they had there was ugly but the style of car looked good.

Some bronze color that looked a funky olive green under the lights. Wouldn’t be my color choice

Re: New mid engine Corvette. July 18th.
I was talking to Derek0609 this afternoon and he had an orange one infront of him. He drives past the Tech Center everyday to and from work so you'd expect that, plus he drives home to the high rent district of the metro Detroit area so surely the engineers live out that way as well. I was wrong about the Supra when I saw it inperson but I don't think I'll be changing my mind when I see the C8 inperson, stay "tuned"

It does look pretty good in person. Has presence that the Corvette hasn't had before. Rear end is still odd to me but a bit better looking in person.

Of course. Different type of presence though. There's some exotic flare to it compared to the old man persona of the past going back to the C4.
