The C7 rear end looked fine even though a lot of people went ape about it. That leaked photo of the C8 though looks brutal.

•IMO:
-Damn cool rear-clip evolution has occurred over
the last three generations of Corvettes (C5,6,7);
-I expect no less from the C8.

Re: New mid engine Corvette. July 18th.
The corporate line so far has been "If you can afford a C7 Grand Sport, you can afford a C8" so likely around $70k to start, give or take.
That said, I wouldn`t touch a C8 for the first few years. They`re still having issues with C7 8-spd auto trans that a variety of service bulletins and `fixes` have failed to address over the last few years. The C8 has been delayed already due to electrical issues and twisting frames on the ultimate `Zora` C8 test mules.
Aside from what will likely be some significant teething issues, I find the thing just plain fugly. Front half up to the back of the doors is ok but from there back I think is ridiculous looking. Just IMO though.

So you’re saying that you were witness to
an early reveal of ”The 7/18/19 Reveal”?
That’s pretty !!

No, of course not...don't be silly.
But if you've been paying attention and watching the various glimpses of the camo versions, including the one that did a live roll-thru at the Museum Bash last Memorial Day, it's quite enough to get an idea that from the side vents back, it leaves a bit to be desired.
Unless the whole side vent/body from the doors back is camo...all beta are off then.

Of course I’ve been paying attention!
{Here, directly below...see for yourself
if it’s true, or not.}
•In a nutshell...
-You earlier alluded to the C7’s A8 transmission
woes not being successfully addressed by the
numerous GM fixes/TSBs; ie:”it leaves a bit to
be desired”.
-Yet didn’t you just recently purchase a 2019 C7
equipped with the A8?!? Did it, somehow, suddenly
overcome the “it leaves a bit to be desirable” status...
and is going to be used as a DD for your Wife?
•And now you are attempting to disparage
yet another aspect of a vehicle, that you
have yet to fully see, with the same ol’
“it leaves a bit to be desirable” refrain.
Meaning, IMO:
-You know you’ll get a C8; it’s in your blood.
