Yeah, noone is doubting any if that but rather the DNA ...all 80%+ of it or whatever the percentage is.

Re: Toyota Supra
Complete disappointment IMO. Great power-train but overall the car is not what I was looking for in the name Supra.

Re: Toyota Supra
I don't care if they make it, just don't call it a Supra. It's just a new Z4/FRS with the Supra name to get it to sell. I'll admit it definitely wasn't targeting MKIV owners at all but the Z4 and FRS crowds.

Re: Toyota Supra
I couldn't care less who built it, what badge it wears, or whose logo is stamped all over the suspension and engine parts. I'm just fired up that it simply exists! In the day and age where driving enthusiasts are an endangered species and fun to drive cars are almost non-existant, we can't hang on too tightly to heritage and badging. You need to sieze the opportunities where you can find them. I fear they won't be around much longer.
I am thrilled that any company would take the the risk to put a good looking, RWD, sports car on the market when everyone else is making and selling huge, heavy, soggy driving appliances. I'm far more dissapointed that a manual transmission won't be an option, but if Toyota was smart enough to use BMW's programming of the ZF 8-speed transmission, it still should be a really good drive when you use the pedals.
This car will be in it's second model year when I start shopping for a sports car and unless it drives like a total dog, it will be on my short list of contenders.
For those who don't like the BMW/Toyota cooperation, don't look at the Fiat 124 Spider...hint: it's a Miata.

Ha! The 500 Abarth isn't too bad.
I was shocked to look at several Maserati's at the car show this weeked only to find the SUV full of Jeep Grand Cherokee parts and the sedans with many hints of Chrystler bits. Not very impressive.

Well, atleast in the Fiat124/Miata situation the Fiat has an Italian heart and doesn't share a single body panel. As far as not looking at any Fiat in general, couldn't agree more, total POS! I mean could you imagine driving one of those things through a brutal midwest winter, you'd never get to work, crazy!

Why make new switch gear though, I mean when I put a window down I just care about it going down, not that it shares a switch with a Jeep product. The average person driving those don't even know the diff and don't care.

Re: Toyota Supra
It's just another over-priced, under performing car IMHO.
