A day at the track driving a Ferrari F430

Went to Sanair race track today to do 6 laps with a racing instructor in a Ferrari F430.

Had a blast!

I could hardly believe the car could grab so much at the speeds we were driving, lots of fun!

I made a video of it using the onboard go pro footage and the video shot from the observation deck. It was recorded at 4K but without a telephoto lens the quality is pretty bad. It's also very hard tracking a race car if any of you have ever tried it I did a slightly better job than my friend filming, but even with good techniques and trying to plan ahead, the heavy breaking and accelerating of the car makes it super hard to film from that angle. I corrected as much as I could in post production, still shaky. Hope you enjoy it anyway

Next time, Lamborghini Gallardo

I am really thinking about buying a cheap car to go do track laps. Much less expensive (100$ per day vs 200$ for 7 minutes). Of course you need to buy the car and upgrades will also be a good idea... but still I really loved the experience of driving fast, something I never do cause here in Montreal speed limits are crazy slow. Also I don't want to risk people's lifes on the street, it's not the place to race.
