Take the long view and put it in perspective. I don't drink, smoke, gamble, have a weekend sport I watch, or many other things that tend to drive wives insane. We all have a list of these "good" traits. I don't mention that, but I'm sure she gets its. So other good behavior offsets this addiction, it's probably manageable. If you are drunk all the time, do meth, and frequent the local brothel, you maybe need to cut back on the car care products.

More importantly, I take care of her car. She loves the way her car looks and all her co-workers ask her how it can look so good all the time.

About a year ago she came home once panicking about a scratch in her door. She was positive it was going to the body shop. It looked bad to me and was beyond my experience level. I decided to take a chance and polish it. About 30 minutes later it was completely gone. (Note that I wouldn't want to measure the the remaining thickness on her clear coat in that spot.) If you can pull off something like that, you're likely golden.

The key is to not keep everything on the same shelf. It is easy to walk by and tell the amount of stuff of the shelf grew. Or I don't remember there being wax on the third shelf just the top two. When you have a little here, a little in the basement, a little over there, it's hard to keep track of how much stuff there really is.
