The thing is I will pretty much be limited to what is available locally at the big box stores

Shipping a blower up here would add hundreds to the price

I’m sure I can find something locally after you tell me what I will be looking for

I wish I had room to grab one next spring when they blow them out after the season but that’s not an option

I’ll just have to do my best next fall when they get the new stock in

Wired a 30A breaker for the Husky 60-gallon compressor I ordered from HD (as seen in someone else’s posts in one of the multiple Tornador threads). My hand-me-down 2-hp/20-gallon (MitUS!) Campbell-Hausfeld is finally barely running, after 35 years of service (the tank was replaced a different CH tank from a neighbor's broken 20 year old CH compressor about a decade ago). It’s time. I want to get a Tornador Black or Max, and the old workhorse — even when it was running well — struggled supplying any sort of volume the my ratchet and wire-wheeled angle grinder, so this will be a huge upgrade for me.

I could have probably used ⅜” FMC for the three 10 AWG wires, but ˝” is easy to use and it’s a really short loop.

We went to the house site this weekend and the entire interior is framed now

We have our electrical walkthrough with the electrician on Friday and I am going to spec extra lights in my designated detailing bay, and I am going to spec two dedicated circuits for my compressors and pressure washer

I wrapped the coffee table in cheap yoga mat. Our blind dog kept hitting his head on it. We've had some other stuff pool noodled for a while.

Nothing crazy. Changed out what looks like the factory battery cables on my 90 vert. Negative cable had a lot of cracks.

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

Today's burst of energy as I attempt to keep my mind busy, an oil change, filter clean and deck clean out on the Bushranger.

The last oil change for this unit was back in May. To be honest, I don't have a specific oil change period on my machines, I just get to them when I can. Sometimes it's every four months, sometimes its every six months, sometimes its every 12 months for a mower that I don't use as often. On this unit today, it was certainly "time".

This was the first time I have used this mower service stand. Bloody brilliant thing to have for someone servicing mowers often like I do.

The blades on the Bushranger still have life in them, but I could see a lot of built-up grass under disk around the drive shaft and cooling vents. With an impact wrench, it's easy enough to whip the disk off to get proper access. These Bushrangers use the Rover design disk with a central bolt and three smaller locating bolts.

With the Bushranger now ready for better days, I took the opportunity to replace the blades on the Atom. I have seen these go longer without problem but I had the time and parts in stock to just do them today.

I don't use the Atom regularly on jobs, mainly for the occasional overgrown lawn or at home for razor straight edges. This set of blades lasted just over two years.
