PS It took 20 freaking minutes plus to remove the darn love bugs off of the front bumper with Sonax bug sponge, Sonax bug stuff, multiple applications and a lot of elbow grease and they were only there for 2-3 days. If you walked through parking lots down here and saw the cars I see it would blow all of your minds the destruction these creatures do twice a year.

Is it worth considering getting one of those bras?

Been here since 1982, tried it all, they get ragged out and mold builds up fast with the humidity and rain and heat. And like Mike's suggestion about a rental vehicle, that would be like two months a year + of driving a rental vehicle which is a lot of money. It is what it is. The past two season were mild, this "bloom" as we call it was huge. Think about his post about the rental car about two weeks ago and love bugs were flying all around me still today.

So you used fhe Sonax bug stuff prior to a bucket wash? Or just the bug stuff with a bug sponge? Is that the best stuff you’ve tried?

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?
I finally took the 15hr plunge and dismantled nearly my entire garage. Pics coming later but overall I'm 1/2 way done with painting!!! Made room for upto a 60" flatscreen and my extending my Sonus system into there too.
Bright White ceilings and light gray walls. Trim will likely be a darker grey with some white accents. Floor comes later this year and I think I've settled on Bullet Epoxy Product. it's not at all inexpensive but it appears awesome. I saw a 4 layer system applied in my buddies garage and it's museum quality. 3 layers of epoxy color and one layer of clear over it. Skid resistant and looks amazing.
I'll upload disaster pics next from tapatalk as I'm heading out to put all the cabinet stuff strewn on the floor away so I can begin taking on the other half (ceilings only) today.

Sorry, but they couldn’t take a minute to disconnect the propshaft?
Just did a clutch on an S4 with that style shaft a couple weeks ago; doesn’t take long to slip the propshaft off so you’re not torquing on the joints. Easier to deal with just the tranny too.

Ceiling is done. 2 coats and looking nice and bright. Left wall done and most of the one behind my work bench. I just have to move the bench and do that area. The right side is coming next.
Adding a 55" next to the inside door as a nice wall mount. 2 Sonos play 5 speakers going in too.

Awesome project.
To make it perfect, get rid of that Buckeye flag. Lol.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
