Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?
Helped my wifes aunt out. Her 05 colorado heat and ac blower motor stopped working. Shes had 3 people apparently fix it and it only lasts a few weeks. I work on my own cars and such so i told her id look at it. Did some research and digging. Found common issue is a ground that gets buildup on and messes with hvac system working. Found ground cleaned it and reinstalled. Works like a charm. Took ten mins and was free. Love easy fixes

Pulled toilet, removed old was ring. Cussed home builder and plumber for setting flange ring so low into the hardwood floor and the jacka$$ for not getting a tall wax ring. Bathroom smells like a urinal because of course it leaked. So I replaced with a new update rubber setup with foam gaskets and a built in wax ring. Was 1/4” off the floor when I compressed so hopefully that does the trick. I hate messing with this kind of stuff

Your own home, or a clients?

My own home. I figured out the problem when 1.) it smelled like a urinal and 2.) the hardwood floor only around the toilet is starting to gap like a mofo. I’ll burn the house down before I tackle a refloor project

Lol
When we bought our house, my wife's only major concern was the bathroom.
Ugly, cheap fixtures and trim, crappy vinyl floor tiles.... After closing, I spent about 2 days in there before we moved in.
The things I found were incredibly laughable. Including exactly what you described except for sub-floor rot.
I didn't like it, but I got the seller down so much below his asking price, that I think of it as a draw. Lol

Well the subfloor was wet so that’s pretty depressing but I ain’t tearing hardwood floor out unless we can’t get this rodeo resolved

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?
I loved when yard machines were rated in HP instead of CC's.
Unfortunately, some manufacturers started "fudging" the HP ratings which prompted the change.
No true conversion from HP to CC's, but I believe the closest you can come (in my own experience) is every 29-30 CC is approximately 1 HP.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
