Get well soon!
Yeah, I was knocked out, first time for me, other than when I passed out at work one day (20 years ago), that was a combination of dehydration and a kidney infection caused by kidney stones.
I actually woke up as they were wheeling me out of the op room, and was fully awake by the time I hit the recovery room. Others were still sleeping for half an hour or more after they came out.
My main problem was the gas they pumped in down below, to get a better "view". I couldn't stop popping off, very long and loud, the nurses couldn't stop laughing, probably because I couldn't either, that just made them louder.
The best bit is this has only cost me just over $100 so far, including the specialist visit and the prep stuff I had to drink yesterday. But I have 1 more follow up with the specialist in a couple of weeks.
This was all the result of the free screening test all Australians get every 2 years after we hit 50, the one a lot people ignore.

Glad to hear it was just proactive "preventative maintenance"!
Since the nurses were good sports, If you go back in 2 years and you're "venting" after the procedure you should tell them you've been trying to practice "Camptown races" (or song of your choice) leading up to the procedure...
My boss was drugged but awake when he had his done. Apparently when they were doing the viewing (with a group of students in for good measure) and they told him "Well, everythings looking good in there." he replied to the doctor "Thanks. You've got a really nice smile." Everyone got a chuckle out of that.
Always found it interesting when they’d ask if you wanted the person who brought you to come back before the candy wore off as they noted “You’ll probably be VERY honest in that condition”
Sure, bring ‘em back…I’ve got a few things to get off my chest. [emoji1787]

I spent the afternoon tidying up some tubs, my nephew has bought his first house and is moving in a couple of weeks. These have been stacked in a corner of the garage for about 4 years, perfect job for ONR.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6af9c921b3.jpg

From the weekend - finished up making an Acrylic paint pouring station for the Mrs for Mother’s Day.
First project where it was all cut by hand (Japanese pull saw), no miter box. Used a plane to smooth out as needed, no sanding.
Did all the cutting and prep work during my lunch breaks at work, but ran out of time and had to do the assembly in the basement at night ( /morning…)
It’s sized to have a dog kennel tray in the bottom to catch the paint, which I hadn’t bought yet because I wanted to be sure she liked the idea enough to actually give it a go. She’s pointed videos out online and thought it was cool, but never hinted at wanting to do it herself. I figure this would give her a chance to try something new, and I got to design and build something. [emoji16]
I spend Sundays attending to my commercial gardening clients, that way I don't get in the way of others, or they get in my way. For the most part, these areas are publicly accessible, it can be quite amusing/puzzling/disgusting what I find discarded on lawns and in gardens. Everything from shoes, under wear and clothing, money, certain rubber devises, syringes, assorted car parts, human waste.................and everything in between. :dunno:
Most of the time it's just litter from low life individuals who have no concept putting things in a bin, even when its within walking distance from one...................
