I actually do my "fried chicken" the same way using boneless, skinless, thighs

We had a small convection oven/air fryer in Hawaii and it was amazing as you suggested

That is one of the first kitchen purchases when we get into the new house

Sadly there isn't enough space here at the B&B for anything like that

The range, dishwasher, and microwave/range hood are included in the price of the house

The builder buys a years worth of appliances at a time, and especially since covid shortages and stuff, and they just get one line and you don’t get options

He has been installing GE for a number of years because they have had really bad luck with quality as well as warranty claims from other brands

I will certainly look at the Samsung you are talking about

I wouldn’t have any problem selling the existing range for what it’s worth if I remove it while it’s still new

Today I added tiny (1”) casters to the bottom of my QuickJack’s frames, in order tho make them easier to position. They add about ¾” to the QuickJack’s lowered height, but it’s a trade I’m willing to make.

We went to storage and I got out our old tree for the first time since 2019

Since we will be here at the B&B for quite a while we wanted a few of our things to make it more homey for the holidays

    Ornaments go on tomorrow

This tree is over 20 years old but as artificial trees go it’s not bad looking

The branches need fluffing out a bit but then it’s good to go

My wife & I have had a small, artificial Christmas tree for about 20 years. All of the ornaments stay on it permanently.

Every year at about this time, she goes down to the basement, removes the cloth cover she keeps on it, brings it upstairs, sets it on the small table in the LR, fluffs it up a bit, and says: "Done!"

It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

    Sunday was “switch-out” day.

Mower deck removed, pressure-washed, painted, blade sharpened, oil changed, fuel system treated & drained, battery removed, wheels removed, axles greased, and all metal/electrical parts sprayed down with
    CRC 656. (Marine lubricant).

Snowblower was serviced in April, so it just got a dust-off, another coat of Griot’s 3-in-1 on the augers, tire pressure check, and a test start.
(One pull, and running like a top).

Bring it on, Old Man Winter!

    We got the ornaments on

That’s 40 years worth of Hallmark Frosty Friends collection

That and some simple German glass ornaments is all we do anymore, although I couldn’t find the glass ones this year

I couldn’t find the tree skirt or much of anything else but I did come across some containers of detailing supplies that I am looking forward to going through after we get in the new house

I know I still need to call and talk snow blowers with you

The thing is I will pretty much be limited to what is available locally at the big box stores

Shipping a blower up here would add hundreds to the price

I’m sure I can find something locally after you tell me what I will be looking for

I wish I had room to grab one next spring when they blow them out after the season but that’s not an option

I’ll just have to do my best next fall when they get the new stock in
