Water based dressing for SUV tires
Anybody have luck with a water based dressing on suv tires? I always use a gel on our trucks, in the past tried PB's Bold and Bright a few times and didn't seem to absorb into the tires (even on new clean tires). I seem to find water based ones better suited to car tires then say a/t suv tires for some reason.
But looking for a different look now, like matte sheen, anybody used water based like Surf City, Optimum etc on suv tires with luck?
aahhh frick -- wrong area lol

Never liked Hyper Dressing, had no durability even on trim.

hmmm......odd......works good for me and I've got the same exact tires you do. Try Pinnacle Black Onyx then.......you can actually see where it absorbs into the tread from the sidewalls. Good stuff there.

I'm spoiled by it , even my side view mirror casings are still beading water off after a month.
Just looking for a slightly different look on tires, like a nice matte sheen ala Optimum, Poorboys, but for some reason Gels were the only ones that worked good on our trucks a/t tires even when I tried some of the water based dressings on new tires. Maybe my bottle of PB BB was bad, seemed to work good on car tires.
