Arrow I bought a WORX 20V Powershot cordless power cleaner, anyone use one?

    https://www.worx.com/portable-power-cleaners.html

I was talking to my buddy Hectour last night and said to him that I wish someone made a powerful sprayer that I could use to clean my tires and wheels better, maybe even use it to wash my car and use it like foam cannon even. Then I turned the tv on this morning and I see an infomercial for this product, its almost like someone heard me and I was put in position to see this, the detailing Gods perhaps, LOL!

I bought it and opted for the package that comes with the bottles, one holds soap too. My question is this, could I use this as a foam cannon or is there something unique that allows the product to "foam"? Also a side question, is there a great soap out there that doesn't have wax in it?

Thanks in advance because if this product works as advertised I'll be able to take my cleaning to the next level, almost like having a hose or power washer, albeit one on a smaller scale.

I haven't used one personally, but have thought about getting one to use as a final rinse with DI water on mobile details. Not sure how it'd work for foaming as it seems to pulse and not have a consistent pressure. Only one way to find out Roger. Let us know how it works for you.

I will post about it here for sure!

I've seen a video where the guy cleaned the engine bay using distilled water because of the overspray of water getting elsewhere on the car and it just drying up, although I would wipe it along and not trust it to dry spotfree.

If it doesn't work well as a foam cannon I could still do a 2 BM wash and tap into either the wash or rinse as needed. Really looking forward to using this and one more thing I'll use it for...cleaning my parking spot and general area around it, the neighbors who also park down in the garage will think I'm even more fanatical!

    Hello,

I have one and I use it for washing my boat and waverunners. I fill a five gallon bucket of water (I have to fill it several times). It works very well just don't expect it to be like a regular pressure washer. You may want to consider the fast charger or a second battery. There should be more then enough power to wash a car.

Without looking it up right now how much does the extra battery cost? Is this something I can buy at one of the home improvement stores locally?

Never used a cordless pw, but they have come a long way with battery-powered tools.

I'll be interested on your report on this, Rog.

they have a new battery that is supposed to have twice the power of current battery sold with the power shot. The cost is 69.00 and the regular battery is 49.00. You can get it at the worx website. If you sign up to their site they have frequent sales that can save a lot of money.

There is a guy on YouTube that is a mobile detailer Dallas with a few videos of the various detailing uses for the Worx. Maybe you might want to take a look. I believe it is under Dallas Paint Correction.

I hook my hose up to mine and it works ok not like a regular electric washer. I got and extra battery on ebay for around $21.00 . You can get a good deal on ebay regarding worx products. They have open box specials, I bought my trimmer and blower through it.....
