After a 50 hour week, cracked it open last night. 12oz bottle. Interesting lager. Nutty taste with caramel rye and vanilla notes. Would I buy a case? NO. Very good offering tho from Budweiser.

Visited my son in Sonoma, Ca. and ran over to the Russian River brewing in Santa Rosa to get some cases of Pliny the Elder, good stuff. Wish they sold it closer to my location.

New Glarus Brewery is 2.5 hour drive from here. We go to Wisconsin about every two months for a New Glarus beer, bambi sausage and Wisconsin cheese run. We make a fun family day out of it.
Note to those not familiar with New Glarus beers. They are only sold in Wisconsin. So for those like myself that love it we get to go on a road trip behind the cheddar curtain to satisfy our desires.

We should do a brewery tour one of these days.

I wouldn't say I have a favorite. If I have a beer out I ask what is local and wheat, or what is the seasonal local beer.
If I get beer in the store to bring home it's usually some local wheat. I do the mix n match 6 pack and get one of each.
Now I have a Costco margarita a few nights a week.

Coffee, coffee, coffee ... A rescue cup of real arabica in the morning, some cinnamon and milk, no sugar. Now really coffee has become very popular. 5 years ago I was surprised to look at my friends who couldn't start the morning without coffee, but now I cann't live without it.
This article will be interesting to coffee lovers. Link removed - Mike Phillips
I try to drink no more than 2-3 cups of coffee a day. How much coffee do you drink? What is your favorite coffee?

Hey Lallets....
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so explain the link above?
It's against forum rules just so you know it looks like a fake site.

Homebrewer here! Stouts and IPA's are my thing. Sierra Nevada has long been a favorite.
