Does Fed Ex ever transfer to the USPS?

I ordered an item from here and fed ex ships it about 5 minutes from my address but then says its delivered.At first I thought it was at my apartment but I am in a university as a full time student and they dont like the apartments getting the packages there so they take them back and ship them down the street to the package center to pick up. Why? I dont know, maybe a security issue. If my package was delivered on my campus, they would let me know through email but that also never happened

I have read that fed ex likes to use usps for lighter packages and mine was under 3 lbs. I did call fed ex and they were a bit confused too.

Ughh nothing never works out for me. I wonder if it will come today maybe

Bill, if FedEx is using USPS for the terminal delivery, it would be noted on the tracking as a SmartPost® shipment, and should also show somewhere a USPS tracking number which would pick up the tracking once FedEx tendered the shipment to the post office.

But Meghan would be able to check all that for you if you provide her with your order number, as that type of shipping would have been specified at her end, I believe.

Ok so that I understand you correctly, you usually do not get packages at your university apartment they usually go to a mail center?
I am trying to figure out where your packages are normally delivered since they are showing it was delivered and signed for.

This is funny cause we just got a FEDX envelope, delivered by UPS, with a UPS shipping label on it.

Its completely odd. Says delivered but never showed up. School would have sent an email already yesterday. fed ex is looking into it.

Go pick it up at the place down the street don't singlet yourself out everybody has problems with packages once in awhile nobody's against you

Go to the address it was dilivered to I wouldn't wait on fedex especially if the place is right down the street

Fight the issue is I dont know where it is. The only possible address could be my school apartment or the package center. If the package was there and scanned,I would get an email which I did not.
