I can empathize with you as it pertains to health scares....I had a significant one myself 5 months back.....happy to say it came out okay and taught me a lot about what's important in life. As a hobbyist detailer, I'll miss your posts as I always looked to learn from you, as I look to learn from so many on this forum. I wish you all the best, and only ask that you stop in once in a while and say hello

Re: LSNAutoDetailing News
Wish you the best outcome from the surgery and an awesome recovery. Listen to the physical therapist and if you can or don't push hard when the rehab is started. Man those set backs when you are pushing it too hard is no fun. And it's hard to hold back when you feel like pushing the limits. As much it's physical it's also psychical hard to go through. Small steps forward and you will be fine before you know it. Even if it's not feeling that sometimes. I believe in you are going to do great!
Best wishes / Tony

Thank you everyone... As the date gets closer my symptoms have gotten worse, so in some strange bizarre way, I'm actually looking forward to the surgery. I can't say I'm not nervous, but my surgeon is one of the best.
The second part that is causing concern is how much all this will cost. The only surgeon that entertained doing the surgery is out of my network. But, I know things will be ok, they always are.
You're right Tony! As we used to say in USAF basic training, just keeping putting one boot in front of the other Airman!
I'll update this thread post op, and when I can type again...

Re: LSNAutoDetailing News
Went over the last few pages of this thread and couldn't find what type of surgery you will be getting.
I also noticed that you said you are giving up polishing for good. Is the reason because of the surgery or was it something else? Don't mean to pry, but just curious.
In any event, good luck on your upcoming surgery.

Thanks RSurfer, I didn't say for a reason. If folks had the same procedure, I don't want folks chiming in on what went right and what went wrong... I'd rather get it done first, then disclose. Make sense?
A little of both, earlier I specified that day job is incredibly busy, and when we're in good weather (not summer), we'd like to spend our time cycling, hiking, out with our dogs, day/weekend trips. I'll still take care of my vehicles....
