I didn't see or read about that but IMO going with say .5 ounce for a gallon is a good place to start. This product is pretty thick, like Ech2o and I feel that would work well. Honestly though, I've been using my WW pre-made mixes for QD needs and haven't looked back. One things for sure, not all RW's and WW's are created equal as I feel stronger products using less product is going to be the norm but remember, WGU RW is 1 ounce to 3 gallons, they were first!

The dilution ratio they suggest is kinda odd but may have something to do with the fact they sell that cool wash bucket and its 5 gallons. I mean if someone does the 2 oz to 5 gallon ratio there's enough solution there to wash 2 cars using the GD method, no doubt about it. I ALWAYS pre-treat every time, so make up a bit more than needed when doing a RW 1BM or even a RW 2BM because of the pre-treating. The nice thing about doing the 1BM and GD is when your done the left over can be used to clean your tires and wheels, if they aren't really dirty or like I do, use as WW for next time, this not wasting ANYTHING!

With 5 gal mixed I was able to wash my full size truck and my wife's coupe and still had enough left to do another car or more.

Ok so the car was legitimately dirty, so a true test. The directions say 2 oz makes 5 gallons of cleaning solution but I made less, 4 gallons and went with 1.5 ounces. Now it roamed up a little at first but when I got to 4 gallons it leveled out and was a light purple color, the grape smell toned down as well, smelled more of the caranuba at that point, time to wash!

I added 4 edgeless MF towels and dunked my QUAZZER 1000 ml bottle in there for pre-wash and got started. I sprayed the windshield, roof, side Windows and rear boot window and grabbed a towel. I started with the windshield and the MF towel moved easily and picked up all the dirt, same with the rest of the pre-treated areas, worked great, time to dry. For drying I used my smallest Big Blue drying towel and it dried VERY easily behind it, leaving the area dry and glossy, most impressive. The same was true for the rest of the car and paint looked great but I should point out my car was also freshly coated 2 weeks ago to be fair. There's no doubt that Griots did their homework here and FWIW I recommend this to anyone looking for a quality RW and it also can be made into a WW as well. Speaking of that I used the left over in my 2 gallon hand pump to rinse clean my tires, wheels and wheelwells next time and the rest I mixed with some of the TW RW made up as it's own WW, making a "Frankenstein" WW, LOL and that's in my 1.25 gallon battery powered lawn sprayed, so that will net me about 2 washes.

In closing I really like this product and whether your looking for your first RW or WW, adding to your collection of just wanna try something new this product will NOT disappoint you and gives you GREAT value due to its 320:1 ratio (2 oz to 5 gallons for RW solution) and 15:1 for WW duties, a win win by a rock solid company with great products and even better customer service and I know, been dealing with them since 2005!

It flashes better than speed shine and works pretty good in direct sun. Very slick! If you want some Roger just shoot me a PM. I have a gallon refill.
