Every NAV system on factory vehicles I've used suck anyway. I haven't found a way to modify the route either. I do a lot of cross country driving for work and I always have to have Google maps up. The NAV system always wants to find the main highway only routes and the last trip from Denver to Oklahoma I took, it was directing me to a route that was 75 miles and an hour longer than Google maps. I've been in back wood areas that the system said had closed roads even though I knew they were open and it was trying to take me way out of the way. I couldn't ignore the closed road messages and it refused to let me take them.

This was in my 2016 Titan XD, so the NAV system is about as up to date as you can get.

    Re: 2017 Honda RIDGELINE

I looked at the undercarriage while several were still on the truck. It might work well on pavement, but the suspension is too dainty for offroad use. It might sell well for people that are looking for a refined, midsized cargo hauler. At least it lost its Buck Rogers styling.
