The more I see the new polishers being released the more clear it is I already own those which is not a bad thing. The only real change for me personally would be a PE-14.
I'm with ya there. I can see myself picking up a long-throw XFE and a PE 14, but not this since I already have a 3401. Not that it's not impressive. I just already have it.

Get the PE14. It's an incredible machine. I'm starting to use mine a lot more than my 3401.
I talked with the engineers of the both the XCE and the XFE they will be planning on making a smaller (probably 5" BP) for both machines.
Just the clear it up that the 3401 is NOT being replaced by the XCE. The XCE is an addition to the line of Flex Polishers. The 3401 is still going to be offered by Flex.
