MIRKA Sanding Discs Now Available @ Autogeek!

MIRKA, a Finland-based company committed to continuous product research and development, has become a pioneering specialist in flexible abrasives and products that allow for true dust-free surface finishing. The advancements made by MIRKA in the last decade have led to abrasive technology that eliminates steps while improving overall quality. This enables users of all skill levels to create a perfectly smooth surface. Savvy car care enthusiasts know that the smoother the paint, the more it will shine! MIRKA makes that possible with their Abralon and Microstar line of sanding discs.

If MIRKA sounds familiar, it's because Mike Phillips has been testing and promoting ABRALON discs for several months now.

    Nick,

Do you see Autogeek expanding the product line to some of the other Mirka Products? For instance, the Shark Blade De-Nibler, the Sanding Drum and Rosettes?

Hopefully they will sell them as singles and mix & match like BuffDaddy does

I never need a full box of these type products

If there's enough demand then yes, absolutely.

I'm a huge fan of Mirka Abralon sanding discs.

These are the discs I used when I did the wetsand, cut and buff on the Joker Truck both the first time and the second time. (she was wrecked and repainted)

I like the flow though mesh design and the foam backing. They cut fast and leave a uniform sanding pattern that buffs out easy.

You can use them by hand or machine

One of the last projects I used my original Makita rotary buffer on before she gave up the ghost...

The Mirka Abralon sanding discs area in my opinion better for machine sanding gel-coat boats and aluminum pontoon boats. What I show in our Boat Detailing Classes and in my upcoming boat detailing book is how to use Mirka Abralon discs with a Flex 3401 for one powerhouse of a machine sander. Just don't try this with car paint.
