    UDM - PC Comparison

I would really like to see a comparison of these two machines from the inside out. I would be interested in how they stack up by way of internal components (i.e. steel vs. plastic parts, helical or square cut gears etc.) Anyone besides me think this would be an interesting comparison? It would be cake to disassemble and reassemble these two machines. With respect to the noise reduction found in the UDM I've got to think that there is a design upgrade in the gears.

When it comes to a persons worth, money is a lousy way to keep score.

DavidB stated on another forum that the two machines shared a near identical driveline with the exception of the larger motor on the UDM as well as a higher quality ball bearings and superior cooling fan.

I believe that but I think it would be cool to see it side by side. I'm needling Jngrbrdman over on DC to send his new one my way and I would compare it to one of my PC's. I'm sure he's not biting on the offer.

Mine is at your disposal if you want to tinker. I've got a dry nitrous kit that I'd like installed on it for when I have to work on Covette paint. If you can get that installed on it while you are at it then that would be a bonus. Since I'm possibly the only UDM owner in the area right now, it only seems logical that you use mine if you want to see. I only ask that the process is well documented so that everybody can benefit.

We'll make this happen and of course I'll take pictures. By the way, I've installed quite a few nitrous kits over the years. If you've really got something petroleum powered to put it on..... A Honda scooter would be awesome.

LOL I can only imagine!! A nitrous powered 250cc scooter. You know, I might just do it just so I can have the purge valve to knock little 50cc Vespas over with. LMAO I'll have to get back to you on that one though....
