Wolfgang "New" Deep Gloss Liquid Seal & "New" Pad Werks Polishing Pad Cleaner

Today I had a chance to play with the New Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal (WGDGLS) and Wolfgang Pad Werks Polishing Pad Cleaner (WGPWPPC).

The vehicle is a 1998' Ford Explorer. In decent shape but had some swirls.

Here is the hood before any work was started:

First thing first,I cleaned the hood using Meg's D114 Rinse Free Express Wash diluted at WW concentrate.Sprayed the hood liberally and wiped clean with a Chinchilla MF:

Thou hard to see defects on this Gold colored vehicle, the swirls/scratches were present:

My weapons of mass correction were a FLEX 3401VRG,OPT's HP,and a Green Waffle Polishing Pad:

Shook up the HP really well, and put a few sprays on the face of the Polishing pad:

Several section passes on speed 5 on the 3401:

I wiped off the OPT HP with a tight nap edgeless MF and sprayed the corrected area down with CarPro's Eraser to insure the area was fully corrected:

Looks corrected and no swirls/scratches remaining:

I then took the WGDGLS and shook that product up very well:

I sprayed a few sprays on half the hood trying to not cover the half of hood but just anticipate how much I would need to spread an even coat over half the hood.I'm doing the same process for the second half of the hood (using the hood as two sections to protect):

Then I took a MF block applicator and started to spread the product around and work it into the finish until everything looked neat and consistant:

The product indeed left a nice gloss deep looking finish.Oh I forgot to mention, this product has a very yummy smell to it,almost reminded me how the gum Juicy Fruit smells:

Well after I was done applying the WGDGLS,I thought I would try out the WGPWPPC.

Here is the Green Waffle Polishing Pad,after polishing with spent product in/on it:

Laid the pad down and sprayed it with the WGPWPPC:

After letting the pad dwell with the pad cleaner for several minutes.I then messaged the cleaner into the pad with my fingers for about 15sec,I then proceeded to rinse the cleaner out:

The WGPWPPC rinsed clean from the pad without hesitation and without effort.I thought the Wolfgang pad cleaner did a superb job at cleaning the polish from the pad:

The truck looks great. Did you find that a few sprays of WGDGLS was the proper amount for half the hood?

Nice review. How does it compare with WGDGPS ( gloss , durability ,etc ). Based the Application Directions, it can be layered after an hour.
