Lake Country Manufacturing has done it again! The new Hybrid Power Finish Ultra Performance Pads are in stock, ready to ship, and more so than anything else, they're ready to blow you away.

Featuring state-of-the-art hybrid foam developed exclusively for Lake Country Manufacturing, Hybrid Power Finish pads cut more, finish nicer, and last longer than conventional pads.


Hybrid Power Finish Ultra Performance Pads consist of:

6" Hybrid Wool Polishing Pad - This wool pad is similar to the regular purple foamed wool pad but has more foam in the core, making it denser. The foam-wool composition means this pad sheds less, cuts better, and leaves a smoother finish than a standard wool pad.

6.5" Hybrid Orange Heavy Cutting Pad - This hybrid foam pad provides the level of cut expected from a foam cutting pad, but finishes like a foam finishing pad! It removes most paint imperfections and leaves a finish that is nearly wax ready.

6.5" Hybrid Blue Light Cutting Pad - This light cutting pad features super dense construction which enables it to remove defects quickly without compressing, like softer pads can.

6.5" Hybrid White Polishing Pad - The white hybrid pad features very dense foam. Use this pad to remove light imperfections, apply a light polish, cleaner wax, and any jobs for which you'd use the standard Lake Country white polishing pad.

6.5" Hybrid Black Finishing Pad - This pad provides no mechanical cutting ability but thanks to its dense foam, it provides superior control while polishing. It features super soft foam, which makes it ideal for finishing polishes, waxes, sealants, and glazes.

Each of the foam pads in the line feature a 45 degree bevel around the edge that allows constant pressure across the face of the pad. The backing material is 5.5" on the foam pads which makes the pad self-centering when used with a Flex XC3401 equipped with the factory 5.5" backing plate.

Man, that is really confusing that the aggressiveness is reversed compared to the Hydro-Tech cyan and tangerine. At least the rest is black and white, so to speak (and wool).

I would however, like to see these pads offered in other sizes. As we all know 6.5 is just too big for a traditional DA, and I would love to have the same type of pads for smaller areas. Hopefully they are being developed now.

Would these pads work well with the PC? I have always wanted a wool pad for it, but I dont think many are available

They will work just fine a a PC with a 5 inch plate.
