CQuartz lasting how long AG ?
I picked up some CQ item's today but noticed this wording from AutoGeek under the description:
CarPro Wool Wash Mitt
With gentle washing, the CQuartz coating will last longer - up to two years!
The CarPro Wool Wash Mitt is made of 100% Merino wool, a premium wool valued for its softness and length. As the long fibers sweep over the paint, they gently remove grime. The wool mitt has a mesh pocket on the back for your hand. This flat pocket holds your hand securely so you're less likely to drop the mitt.
For the best results, use a quality car shampoo that does not remove wax. Good examples are Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo and SONAX Gloss Shampoo Concentrate.
I would think delicately using mild shampoo's,Rinseless washings ect..,that the CQuartz would last longer than 2 years?

Well, Hydrochloric acid and pool Chlorine didnt destroy it after an hour of saturation (although one of the two did have an affect) so I expect it will handle those puppies!

I checked these new wash mitts out today and thought they were very cool.
You really need to get a brush to brush them out after they dry though...

I think the post is actually about the years the "coating" will protect. Often times the offering is lower in case of harsh environments. I suspect two years is a reasonable expectation.

I find a metal pet brush works best...
It's not as big and bulky as a Wookies fist, and it feels softer than the Wookie as well. Here are a couple of pictures of it next to a wookies fist...
Truly one of my favorite wash mitts for maintaining an already corrected and well cared for finish...

I saw Dark Horse's pictures and the first thought I had was, "That's the trouble with tribbles!"

Quick question about CQuartz, can you still apply wax on top of it? I've been thinking about putting some of this on my jeep, trying to keep scratches away when off roadding, but don't want to give up waxing...

Romeo, you can apply wax over it. The disadvantage to that is you lose the water and dirt repeling characteristics. I would try it on its own first. It looks amazing IMO, a very wet look as it smoothes out the surface.
