    new Flex 4" 3401 Backing plate

    I heard flex has this coming out..The local store I go to that carries flex posted on their facebook about it will be in store in march and be 29.99

    This is long overdue! I hope it's true. The backing plate limitation is the only drawback that I can think of when it comes to the 3401.

    Great, I will take all of my old pads that are worn on the edges and put them on a band saw with a center pivot guide. Make them fit the new plate.

    Seems like it would be a PITA to constantly have to change backing plates on the 3401.
