Is the OPT hyper polish in the same league as M105 for correction or is it more like OPT polish without the extra aggressiveness of the 105?

I am not Mike, but here is what he stated about Optimum Hyper Polish in another post.

WITH a wool cutting pad on a rotary buffer it will cut like a LIGHT compound, not like an aggressive compound, this is a polish. With a finishing pad it will finish out like a finishing polish.

that would never work on my black though. youd need top grade wicked expensive high end stuff used only on ferrari's and lamborgini's and other top end cars jsut to get my paint looking better again.
