Re: New At Autogeek Porter Cable 7424XP Dual Action Polisher
Just did my car last night with the new 7424XP and man this thing is awesome. If you liked using the PC before, get ready for more power and less vibration. I've used the PC-7424 for over 10 years and in recent years have been using the Flex 3401 exclusively.
The PC-7424XP is still a variable orbital polisher (OPMs) that spins freely, no forced rotation (RPMs). It is considered dual action polisher because of the ability to freely spin and orbit at the same time. I turned the machine up to 6 and put some muscle behind it and this new PC does not want to bog down, it has ample power and keeps on going.
I would highly recommend the 7424XP to anyone that wants to tackle swirls, light scratches and oxidation with a very capable polisher. Since it is variable speed, it's also perfect for finishing work such as polishing and waxing.
Two thumbs up.
