Well at last years SEMA show, they told me they weren't interested in coatings at all, but to look out for a nano polisher this summer. I'm really hoping it's the nano polisher...

I’m really hoping for an Ibrid alternative, it’s far to expensive for my occasional use.

I have no clue or inside information, but in a later podcast, they said they were investing and putting in place the infrastructure to make a coating in house.

The phrase “cooking up” seems like it would refer more to chemistry than tooling, but I’ll freely admit I have no clue (especially about this).
I’m sure I’d have to buy it if it was a coating, as I still haven’t decided my LSP of choice and Griot’s has never let me down.
It’d be great if it was a machine as another tool on the market with their warranty would be huge to Pros and Amateurs alike. I dream of cordless...
