It states that it could be used as a booster over existing sealant. But if you follow the instructions, wouldn't you be polishing off the existing sealant? Or if you want to top the sealant, just forgo the instructions and spray and wipe.

Meg's and Mother's, both large companies, have just come out with 21at century products here lately whereas everyone else has had them for quite some time and expanded on them, not so mind boggling.

You must’ve forgotten about things like Meguiars M105, and how there was basically no compound that could finish off lsp ready before it was released... Then slowly everyone else began catching up.
There’s so many products put out by major manufacturers with similar origins.
Re: Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING
Because of the thread, I'm talking about Sio2 and Tio2 type products, still no true Sio2 or ceramic paint coating though. So when a major mfg like this does so another mind boggling statement will be made, get ready....

A second ago you were talking about the “21st Century”
FYI Meguiars does have a ceramic coating, but it’s only sold in Asia. It was introduced many years ago.

Re: Mother's CMX CERAMIC SPRAY COATING
Went to my local pep boys over the weekend and saw the shelf space for cmx. Not sure if they had some and sold out or just made the space.
What I find interesting is how the average Joe will know why cmx is any different than the myriad of products already on the shelf at pep boys. *We* know why it's special, but guy walking in about to wax a vehicle? Not sure.
Also, its spot wasnt very "special" like an endcap or eye level shelf.
I'm willing to try it when it's back there, though!
