Would be super cool if it was a DA, but it’s a rotary. I think it would still serve well for a lot of tasks, but like others have mentioned, probably don’t need all of the ludicrous speed setting.

This looks like a very cool little machine!

If find it odd though that every single image taken of the polisher is blocking the bottom of the handle? Every one except the image with the battery removed! And yes the first image with the green Mustang shows the bottom of the handle but its so teeny tiny.

    Was this intentional? <yes I'm a conspiracy theorist> LOL

Re: The mightiest new product ever

I have the Milwaukee polisher/sander (2438-20 M12) and this looks like a very close copy. I find it a very handy tool, however the Milwaukee comes with a weird 9MM thread that only the backing plate that comes with the machine will fit. Haven't found any adaptors and been too lazy to make one. The Milwaukee M12V system has amazing power and battery life for something so small. This is a rotary, not a DA. I use it to polish or apply water spot removers to glass.

Since this one has a conventional thread size for Detailer tools, I would give it a leg up for car work (if it's quality made).
