If you want really easy the McKee’s 37 Coating is probably the easiest to apply. It looks great too!
I'm a McKee's 37 fan but honestly their coating is IMO no longer the easiest and most forgiving to apply. I think the carrier solvents in some of the others make them easier. To me McKee's v2 is ike Gyeon Prime in that it is a thicker one-layer coating but is a bit more of a pain to remove. It will be interesting to see if UK3.0 "flashes" and wipes more cleanly in 1-2 swipes vs McKee's that can take several to wipes to ensure it wipes totally clean.

Is this the one you’re talking about? McKee's 37 MK37-260 Paint Coating (Sio2 Enhanced New Formula)
Do I layer it on top of the sealer or do I have to strip all that off??
Yes. The New v2 is HERE

You can NOT layer it over a sealant. It must be on bare paint thus either a regular polish and then an IPA/Eraser style wipe down to remove any trace oils from the polish or the McKee's coating prep.

Give the new McKess 10 min. paint sealant a look. I really loved using this product. And the results were amazing. Self cleans the paint and the beading is crazy.

Re: Black and Dark Vehicle paint protection in 100+ Summer Heat

I've used Mckee's 37 paint coating V1 and V2 and Cquartz UK 3.0. The Mckee's is pretty hard to apply in the heat, it flashes extremely fast and is hard to remove, even wiping instantly it left cloudy high spots all over. But, the Mckee's is far Slicker than CQUK 3.0. Cquk 3.0 however is much easier to apply in the heat, can work about a minute or 2 and it's still easy to remove. It worked very well In the south Louisiana heat and humidity. I have 2 black vehicles currently that are coated. The BRZ has CQUK 3.0 and the truck has Mckee's 37 V2.

For a black vehicle in a hot environment, CQUK 3.0 is the winner as far as application goes. I can't talk about longevity of CQUK 3.0 as I just applied it. Mckee's 37 V2 has very good longevity, it's still as slick and glossy as day one, which was 8 months ago. Also, I've never had an issue with water spots with the Mckee's.
