Meguiar’s Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner - Quick Review

I was very interested to try this wheel cleaner out when it was first announced a couple months ago.

I picked up a few bottles when Autogeek had it in stock and during one of the Black Friday specials. I'm always looking for a good wheel cleaner.

I had a chance to try it out today for the first time and I was NOT disappointed! I think I found my favorite wheel cleaner...for now .

This wheel cleaner really attacks iron particles, dirt and grime. It's like Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus and Iron-X rolled into one but without the pungent aroma. The aroma is actually quite nice for a wheel cleaner.

Here's the wheel when I started. The owner keeps this truck well maintained. Not too bad...so I thought!



Meg's Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner sprayed on and allowed to dwell



I like the gel-like consistency which allows it to cling to the wheel and attack those iron particles.



Nice foaming action too.



Here's the wheel rinsed off and then sprayed with Carpro Hydro2 sealant for protection and rinsed again.






Here's a shot of the finished and dried wheel.




Just a quick review.

I hope it will be available in gallon sizes soon.

I had this stuff in my cart and took it out, sorry I did that. I have an entire bottle of DUB still and by the time I use that up I assume it will be available OTC.

Nice review Frank. According to Meguiar's this is supposed to outperform competitors like Sonax. Looks like it has some good clinging which was supposed to be one of the key attributes. One thing I disliked about DUB and Mirror Bright is the lack of clinging to the wheel.

The price is very fair for this product, damn I wish I had kept it in my basket. I agree about earlier, maybe a gallon will be made available for us

I doubt they’d sell this in gallons.

I just bought a gallon of McKees Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel and will have to see how this compares to this and the others.
