    SxS plastics

Thinking about buffing the plastics on my yamaha rhino after experimenting months ago with something I saw on youtube. I did a little section and went out wheeling the weekend after, it has been covered in mud for about 2-3 months but seemed to hold up well!

From what i remember I used my rotary with wool pad and maybe M105 or M205? I'm about to order a flex3401, does anyone have experience with trying to recondition the plastic on 4 wheelers?

I've seen the video of the guy polishing his polaris ranger on YouTube....i didn't have that much luck when I tried.

My Rhino plastics were shiny with no fading, just some scratches here and there. I put the rotary to it, and during the polishing process it looked good until I wiped the residue off. It dulled the plastic, I tried everything I could to bring it back...

Now with the condition of your plastic it won't hurt to try. Buff it and then put some type of protectant on and go riding!

I would think a dedicated plastic or lexan polish would improve the clarity.
