    Not sure about tire whitewalls. but I'm really interested in the matte finish it supposedly leaves on the interior

    right now its in my cart with some other goodies

    whitewalls

    Whitewalls are a must on some cars. This is my wife's 57 Tbird and it wouldn't look the same without them.

    Hey Sparkie, Yes it was a great car. I'm sorry to say that we sold it about 4 months ago. My wife didn't drive it very much and she didn't want me to drive it either. It was as close to perfect as they come. We had it for 6 years and only put about 3000 miles on it. It got first place at about every car show that it was in. Well I'm always looking for something new (old). HB

    Have always used steel wool (SOS) on mine, but it's a mess to clean up. Will have to try lacquer thinner - thanks!

    Back in the early 60's, when whitewalls where still popular. I just used SOS pads. Worked great, washed off with a hard stream of water.
