How to get bike tires looking good w/o dressing

So my tires and white walls weren't looking up to snuff. As you all know (I hope) most tire and wheel cleaners are not safe to use on motorcycle tires. IMO S100 tends to leave a residue and needs a v-e-r-y strong stream of water to totally remove. Solution: Break out the VX5000! Using a dry vapor steam cleaner on tires and wheels works GREAT No mess and gets tires looking like new.

try wesileys bleach white, its white wal tire cleaner and takes the brown out of tires also. $4.00 at the parts store.

Be careful with that stuff. Its very strong and I've heard cases of it eating clear coat off of wheels.

I use simple green on tires with good results. Mixed results on wheels but its mild enough that you don't really risk damaging anything.

If you want to use something safe, try a citrus based APC thats low foaming and you should be good to go.

I also use Wesley's bleach white and have for many years without any problems. Just let common sense be your guide.

I just looked at my stash of Westleys Tire Bleche-Wite Attachment 12288 and noticed the newer stuff being offered is spelled different and sold by black beauty. I have no idea what the difference is if any. The picture inserted is the older version that has been out there forever.

I use cycle care formula #1 for wheels and white walls. Its a safe product and man does it make them white walls pop.
