A friend of mine recently purchased this low mileage 1975 Honda Goldwing. It hasn't been started in a while but the owner assured him it runs good, just needs a little cleaning.

If he gets it running I'm going to try to bring it down for and Extreme Makeover...

    Hi Mike,
I picked up one myself! Can't stop riding it. Time to make her shine.
So what products did you use on the one your friend picked up?
I'm trying to figure out what to use on the un-coated metals.

I have very good chrome, oxidized un-coated aluminum valve covers, oxidized front steel spokes, rusty rear spokes, battered fork tubes, should be aluminum... I will be keeping all the parts on the bike. I may attach something to a hand drill to polish but it's quite tight in there so it might be a lot of elbow grease. Menzerna cream does very little on the oxidized aluminum by hand, I'm running out of elbow grease...

    Any recommendations? Thanks!

I never heard of a 900cc Gold Wing. Me and two friends, bought three 77's, 1000cc's, for a cross country trip, back then.
