N-914 Question Regarding Big Red Sponge.

I received a PM this morning asking the following question. Just in case anyone else has the same question, I'll post my response on the forum for everyone to see.

I recently purchased mckee's n-914. My question is whether or not I'd be able to use the big red sponge? Would the two work together?
Yes. McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash can be used with any type of wash media - sponges, towels, mitts, etc. The (Optimum) Big Red Sponge is a fantastic choice because of the cross-cut foam design.

    Enjoy!

Re: N-914 Question Regarding Big Red Sponge.

Thanks for throwing this up for all to see!

Just got a chance to use the Big Red Sponge last weekend to do my car (with ONR - Sorry, still rotating through all my different rinseless products to try! The wife's Q5 got a 914 bath during the week. ), and really liked how easy it was. I'm finding that the sponge or wash mitt technique may be the best fit for me personally for rinseless washing.

I know the BRS is a source of divided opinions, but the Car went from this:

With nary a mark induced. I'm sure at some point soon I'll pair the BRS and 914.

How's the slickness of the 914 vs WG Uber... Same? Better?

IME, it's not really comparable in that regard. Uber is much slicker but also not as versatile. I'm assuming M37 rinse free wash & wax would be more comparable to uber as far as slickness.
